Alright. Let's start from the

Saturday morning I woke up at about 10:30 because I had EXCRUCIATING pain in my abdomin. So bad, mind you, that it was the worst pain I ever felt in my entire life. I sat in the cold bathtub (I guess I thought that would help?) for about 10 minutes and then tried to make my way to my Mom's door to tell her I needed help. I finally made it, collapsed in front of it and she came out, called Dad up and they took me to the emergency room.

After about twenty minutes I got out of the waiting room andinto an examination room. A nurse came in and gave me a hospital gown to change into. Little did I know it would be my only clothing choice for the next four days. A couple minutes after that an x-ray technician came in and saw me. I went for an x-ray and then came back and waited for a little while. Then, about an hour later we saw a doctor. He examined my abdomin and told me he thought it was probably my appendix. I was scared to death, I did not want to go in for surgery. I then went for a CT scan and a little later an ultrasound. The doctor came back to talk to me alone about my sexual history. I told him the truth; there is none. He said the reason he asked was because another thing that could cause my symptoms was an abscess on my ovary caused by an STD (I later found out they thought I had either Gonorrhea or Chlamydia. Ouch.)

Then the horror happened. A pelvic exam. I won't describe it, it's awful.

We hadn't really gotten any news for a while, the doctor finally came back in and said he had called a surgeon and a gynecologist. The gynecologist came first and did ANOTHER pelvic exam. It sucked. She that the reason they thought it might be an abscess on my ovary instead of my appendix was because it was very low for an appendix. But since I had no sexual history, and she had seen low appendix before she thought there was no chance of it being my ovary, in her opinion it was definitely my appendix. Maybe an hour later the surgeon came in and told me he was pretty sure it was my ovary. This is where the confusion began. He decided to admit me and see how I was the next day. By this time it was about 10:30pm and I had pretty much missed Megan's party (frown face). So twenty or so minutes later they took me up to a room, my parents went home to get a good night's sleep and I was left in a lonely dark hospital. Oh, and I was on morphine.

The next day my Dad left on a business trip to florida and my Mom came back at about 8:30 to hang out. I was on a strict no food or drink diet because they weren't sure if they were going to be operating. They had put me on some pretty intense antibiotics through my IV and also had IV fluid going in to keep me from dehydrating. Um, I basically just layed around all day. Mom was there for part of the time, and they moved me to another room... that was about all that really happened. The gynecologist came back and I think that was the day she told me my tests for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia came back negative. Nothing really to note happened. Ummm.

The next day I went in for another CT scan and another ultrasound. Dr. Casillas (my surgeon) told me I would be staying another night. My pain was subsiding and my abscess was shrinking, they were going to keep me on the IV antibiotics, because it seemed to be working.

The next day was more of nothing. A different gynecologist came in and told me that he thought it wasn't an abscess on my ovaries or appendcitis. He thought it was a hemorrhagic cyst, which I'm still not totally sure what that is. Oh, and I had been on a liquid diet. That night Dr. Casillas came in and told me I could eat. I was starvinggggg. It was amazing. He also said I would probably be going home the next morning. I was ecstatic. Ummmm...

It's really hard to remember everything that happened. But I basically still am a puzzle. I'm going back into Dr. Casillas' office to get some more exams, see how I'm coming along. They're going to see if they can figure it out. If it is appendicitis they'll treat the infection now, and take it out in about six months. I'm also going to the gynecologist later, and they will probably do a pelvic ultrasound, which means they'll stick a camera up my lady parts and see what's up.

I'm probably forgetting something, so that's all for now.

Thanks again for the prayers, and God bless you if you read all of that.
