Some of the sandhill crane migration passed by today! They were moving pretty low - I got a good look at their flight posture as they flew over and on. But of course, I didn't really need that: there's no mistaking that call!

Sandhills!!! We heard a few in mid-November, but haven't had them coming through in big bunches like I remember from other years - not sure if I just missed them or if we're still going to hear them flying over.
