So, early Monday morning I woke up from a nightmare involving collecting oral histories on an exoplanet inhabited by people who vaguely resembled otters. It would be a lot of fun. It could be about museum design! And memory! And the politics of memory especially on that visceral personal level! And generational issues!

...And, of course, local transport that primate type people with no claws and issues about heights find really scary.

Wow, what a dream! Flying platforms seem like entirely appropriate transport for an alien race resembling otters - mud slide in the air, wheeeeee!!! I'm with you though - I prefer my flying things to have rails, or harnesses or snug cocoons of Ultimate Security or something, anyway.
