You're not getting old, Tia; 20 is still a very tender age. To all of the kids you're an adult and to all of the adults you're still a kid. So you kinda have the best of both worlds; know what I mean?
And 28 year-olds won't be able to call you a kid anymore since you could say "Hey, we're both in our 20's and (add your own words here)" You'll get used to it and might even enjoy it. When I was 9, I was kinda afraid to turn 10. When I was 11, I was afraid to be a teenager. When I was 13 I didn't want to turn 14. Didn't want to turn 16. Or 18. Or 20. But you get used to it. And don't worry, you're not losing ANYTHING by turning 20. Nothing. You will still have the same friends, same life, same everything. You'll still be the same person. being 19 years and 364 days is basically the same thing as being 20 years and 0 days.
Just take it as it comes. You're not getting old. You're not even starting to get old. In fact, your youth is still at the beginning.
