The last Week
Fencing was awesome - i went like... 15-2 or something crazy sweet like that. Fun but boring - but overall, good to go out on.
Work this week sucked, and working on Black Friday sucked a lot too. On the bright side, i did bump into my friend Erica, who i used to fence with - she's a couple years older than me, and was one of Coach's best students, and taught me most of what i know, in terms of fencing. It was fun catching up with her, and Wednesday, another girl who used to fence, is engaged! Sweet! I'm really happy for her.
Thanksgiving was sweet. Over the course of the weekend, I'm pretty sure I celebrated the holiday about 5 times. We had enough leftovers to do so. It was amazing, everytime i sat down with a heaping plate of Turkey and Mashed Potatoes, and Sweet Potatos, and Veggies, and Gravy, and Cranberries, and Punkin Pie, and God knows what else.
Dan was back in town, along with Jake, Ande, and Gratson, and it was super, super cool hanging out with them too - i really miss everyone who doesn't live here anymore - it makes me nostalgic for the days of 220 packard. Le sigh.
My sister got a Nintendo Wii - which is pretty sweet. The Zelda game is pretty cool, and I really like the Wii Sports game - i played a lot of Tennis - made me feel like a regular Jordan Bulloff. Hahahaha - lots of fun, even though it's pretty easy to cheat the games just by flicking the remote, instead of doing the actual actions.
I got to drive a lot this weekend too - my sister has a little 5-speed Saturn, and my god, i love driving a stickshift. Its so much fun, and i miss it so much.
Also, it turns out that playing Gears of War on my HDTV with Mad World playing in the background, just like in the commercials, is a lot of fun. Its really cool, and almost hypnotic...
The good news is that I'm over Kyla, finally, and that feels good. More than anything now, I'm just upset at myself that I wasted four weeks of my life that.
Things with Miranda are pretty cool too - but I think i'm retarded or something. I dunno - i've been really down since Satuday night, and I dunno why - i think it's over Amy, but i'm not really sure. Maybe I'm just retarded at dating. I dunno. Watched a bit of Donnie Darko tonight, and hung up some christmas lights - that was cool. My room is cheery. Sort of. But yea - I dunno - i wanna get some sleep. Maybe I'll be feeling better when I wake up tomorrow...
