I have finally finished the nursery. It looks beautiful (of course), and equally 'of course', I am now utterly bored. And I still haven't worked out how to knit. I think I'm going to go and stab a house-elf with these stupid needles.
Bastet spent most of this morning simply yowling at the kitchen door, so I eventually went to investigate what had caught her attention so. It turned out one of the house-elves had locked itself in a cupboard and eaten the key as punishment for having to redo breakfast this morning (I don't know, it burned toast or something). In any case, getting it out was a hassle and listening to the disgusting creature prattle on about properly serving master and mistress and how I was so good to let it out wasn't exactly fun either.
I detest house-elves. Next time I'm leaving it in the cupboard.
I think I'm going to go and sulk read a book.
