(no subject)
Ah, today I've been to Bergen and back. I'm in Trondheim, by the way - I have been for the past week and a half. Yay holiday, etc.
So, in Bergen, I did the oral part of my translation exam. As we know, I failed the written English-to-Norwegian part in May, but passed the Norwegian-into-English, so I had to go to Bergen to do an oral exam.
And I passed.
So that's good. I can now call myself a state-authorised Norwegian to English translator. But I probably won't, as my job is translating into Norwegian and this qualification is mostly worthless (for me, at the moment). Ah, well.
I will do the English-Norwegian exam again in the spring.
I'm going back to the UK tomorrow, and have no more holidays until Christmas. This has been a very nice holiday, with dogs, jam, sunshine, wild raspberries, cake and all that.
Will try to get back into the LJ habit soon (hopefully).
