I want to say thank you, to all of you. The way I got celebrated this birthday still makes me speechless. Friends made individual banners, posted on communities and showered me with joy in every way imaginable. I want to take the opportunity to thank you all properly and show my gratitude by showing off all the awesomeness people did to me. :-)

There's another thing I want to point out: this post isn't friends locked. From now on, my LJ will be friends locked even if most of my entries already are. I've made a banner and will change my fanfic post into a friends locked entry.
What finally pushed me into taking the step are all the new Facebook and Twitter features here on Livejournal. Like many of you, I want my LJ to be a safe fandom haven. Some of you may love connecting your LJ entries - would you be so kind and warn your fellow LJ friends if you do? And also:
Please don't post your comments in my LJ on Facebook or Twitter.
I prefer to to keep this obsession in the company of you, trusted fellow fandom friends. :-)
On the night after my birthday, a good old-fashioned cold broke out in my old body. If anything I write or comment seems odd, please point it out and forgive my muddled brain as it struggles to make leaps between two languages and may already lack common sense when it's not besieged by a cold. ;-) I suppose it's all down to going out and eat too much and too late and sleeping too little. Schools started and germs everywhere, of course. It's been sunnier these last days but it's not really summer anymore. Not autumn either. Hard to dress in a sensible way.
Can't stay at home and nurse myself, and weekend will be very busy. Also, since my landlord needs to finish painting the windows, I feel a little homeless at times. They used water based products, good for both environment and my asthma. But the putty on the roofs had to be polished a lot to be even and that left a lot of dust, which probably made me a bit strained in the airways. Well, it will pass. But it always turns up when you least need it, right? ;-)
