Wet Chicken!
I'm not sure if this is the funniest or the creepiest thing I've seen in awhile. :D
My friend D has several laying hens. The 2 leghorns are by far the most adventurous (and cuddly, yes chickens cuddle, who knew?) of all the birds. Lily and Emma are outside in all sorts of weather - rain, snow, sun - doesn't bother them. (They have access to a nice, cozy coop if they want during the day and are locked up overnight and in extremely cold weather.)
They knock on the door for toast crumbs in the mornings.
I can't wait until the cat flap in the door is unlocked for the summer! D's going to find chickens raiding the pantry for sure! Hehehehhe!!
Oh yes, D's also found out that chickens LOVE the leftover pancake bits soaked in maple syrup. Weirdos.
