Lovey's sick.
It all started when my Grandma went up to Michigan for the day. She called me and asked me if I could keep an eye on the puppy, Izzy. I said yes and went over there. Izzy, being the handful that she is, was bothering Lovey so I yelled at them to get away from one another. Lovey then ran to go hide in the bedroom like she always does. The next day, Lovey wouldn't come out, not even for my Grandpa, who she's attached at the hip to.
My Grandma called and asked if anything happened, and I said nothing out of the ordinary (Izzy and her bothering one another is pretty common.) We thought that maybe she hurt herself, either trying to get away from Izzy, or just by running through the house.
After the second day of her not coming out, we took her to the vet. After doing some tests, the vet said he didn't see anything wrong with her by looking at her, and that he needed some blood to check for anything internally going on. Turns out she has something wrong with her kidneys and pancreas.
She's on a supplament right now to help her kidneys and pancreas. If that doesn't work, then she's going to have to be put to sleep. I hope that it works, because for one thing, she's only 8 years old, which is still rather young for a cat (My other cat, Misty, was 15 before she died.) Also, my Grandpa's going to be devastated if she dies. He didn't take Misty's death too well, I can just imagine how he'd be like if Lovey died.
