I finally got MGS 4!
I've been wanting this game for the LONGEST time all ready, and I finally got it the other day when I went out with my Dad. I got past it last night, on Easy mode though. I'm going on Hard mode later on today.
It's such a fun game. It does have a way with tugging at your heartstrings though. It almost got me a couple times, and I'm usually jaded when it comes to things like that. Only drawback is the cut scenes. Holy shit are they LONG! I swear, last night one of them went on for like an hour (Which is probably an exaggeration, but it sure felt like an hour.)
I totally squeed when I saw Ocelot kiss Snake. I bet he wanted to do that ever since Big Boss. Also, my inner Slash fangirl reared her ugly head and told me to hate Naomi after the whole "Naomi seduces Otacon" scene (yes, I'm a hardcore Snake/Otacon shipper.) I didn't listen to her though, since Naomi is a pretty cool character. I also really loved the B&B ladies. I felt really bad for those poor girls, after hearing their back stories and how they got traumatized.
