These are for the 30th round of scifi20in20. This round we claimed a technique instead of a fandom, and I chose monochromatic subject as my claim. Comments make me smile :)
I think monochromatic subject was a fantastic choice cause it's great to see you use all sorts of different colors, plus it was definitely one of the more challenging claims. I snurched Wicked (♥ I'm predictable, ok. The lighting is great too so it wasn't all just about the subject :) ) and ac1 (the composition is pretty and I love the cleanness of the background, it's almost like negative space even when it's not masked away).
My other favorites are Picture pool (the texture use adds a nice grunginess to it), Tears (I really love the close crop and the subtle coloring), Fighter (love the way he blends into the darkness, it all looks very grungy and ominous), Brains (the color combination is superb), and pretty much the whole ac set actually. There's something really appealing about the coloring of 2, maybe cause it's so unusual, the combination of green highlights but with a touch of brown in the shadows! Love the texture use in 4, the split effect and the color combo in 5, and the composition in 3.
Great set and YAY for DW being the current passion ♥
//ETA: extra 3 is fantastic too. It has a lovely depth to it and an unusual crop. Really gorgeous.
