Third Watch drabbles
I wrote two Third Watch drabbles on the word posted at tw.net, which was... Noodles. Not the easiest word, I have to say. Oddly enough, I managed somehow lol
One of the drabbles is Ty and Sully, and the other one is Bosco and Faith. I'll put them under cuts ;)
1 - Noodle:
“So how’s it going with…”
“Tara.”
“Tara, right.” Sully glanced at his young partner beside him in the car. To him, it sounded like Ty was trying to break Bosco’s record.
“It’s going pret-ty good,” Ty answered, smirking. “She’s coming to my place tonight.”
“Really?” Sully tried to look impressed. “You know it means you can’t sneak out in the morning, right?”
“I’m actually gonna make her dinner.”
“Dinner? Since when can you cook? What’re you gonna make, noodles?”
“No…” Ty shifted uncomfortably in his seat. “But we need to stop by my mom’s at the end of the shift.”
2 - Noodle:
“Come on, let me see.”
“No.” Bosco simply answered.
“But I wanna know what I’m gonna eat.”
“You’ll find out.”
“So much mystery.” Faith made a face. “I’m not sure if I’m dying to know or if I really don’t wanna know.”
“You’ll like it, don’t worry.”
Bosco disappeared in the kitchen, to reappear a few minutes later, triumphantly carrying two plates. When he set one in front of her, Faith stared at it blankly.
“Noodles?” She finally said. “All this for noodles?”
“Not noodles.” Bosco looked offended. “I’m Italian. This is…” He gestured with his hands. “Pasta.”
