Nobody messes with STARWARS....bitches.

Everyone knows that I CAN’T WAIT FOR REVENGE OF THE SITH. STAR WARS has been with me for most of my life now. It’s consumed my teen years. I saw Episode 1: The Phantom Menace when I was 13, and in that year of 1999 my love for the saga began.
Now that I’m 19 the last Star Wars movie is coincidentally coming out on May… 19! LOL So star wars has been with me since I was a weee-little boy. hahahah…..

Below is a still picture of the Revenge of the Sith. This will probably be the last Star Wars picture I ever post here in my journal mostly because it’s pointless to put them because most of you don’t really care shit about star wars. So this will be the last, maybe until the movie comes out, but this is it.

What is so important to me about this picture is that it might just be the most poignant moment in the saga. Us fans will weep when we see this damn movie.
What’s even more powerful is the way the picture evokes 9/11. It’s sad.

Just like that day back in 2001, in the picture the Jedi Temple is under attack, it’s a bright sunny day, what looks to be a NORMAL day on Coruscant, traffic looks to be flowing as normal, but all this is happening as this atrocity is happening to the Jedi temple. We see all this happening in the distance just like we saw in the news reports (remember??) and the way people in NY witnessed it.

This is the part in the movie when all of the JedI are beginning to be eliminated across the face of the galaxy.

I don’t know if this was done on purpose to evoke that feeling and to go into our consciousness, because EVERYONE still has those images in their heads. But, yeah...I don’t know if George Lucas and his ILM boys did this intentionally or if it was just pure coincidence, but what matters is that it works for the movie and it is emotional.

READ MY LIPS (even though you don’t see them, just pretend) MAY 19 WILL BE A DAY LONG REMEMBERED.
