Dancing in the rain???
The rain hates me and I can't do anything about that slimy shit falling from the sky. Or maybe I can... [goes outside and shoots the rain with shotgun]. Damn that didn't work!
This past Monday my mom left on a trip out of town and she won't be back until Wednesday the 13th of next week. I thought "Alright! No Sis' No MoMa.. I own this house! I'm going cook spaghetti and meat balls, order some pizza, invite some friends over and go out and have a good time... but no, none of that has happened.
First of all the rain and the ever impressive loud, bitchin' lightning took out the power in all of Silver Lake last week Monday. I had a co-worker at Blockbuster tell me that she drove to work from the Placita Olvera all the way down to where I live and there was no power everywhere. Shit that was huge area without power!
The power came back the next day, for most of us in Silver Lake, BUT my phone line did not. My phone was dead for one whole week and I couldn't contact any friends via Internet or phone. It was already Monday of this week and my mom was leaving, and still no phone! But my brave and lovin' mother came through and she called the phone company from the airport telling them jerkoffs at SBC that my poor ass don't have a phone connection...... The phone came back in two days. Hurray for my badass mother!!
The phone came back two days ago from today. Thing is.. the RAIN is still pouring!
The results... I've been stuck at home doing NuThiN. I went to work Tuesday through Thursday but that's it!
I have no fucking umbrella, I could go out but with those 30 mile per hour winds in the way its not a good time to be outdoors. I need a car, right now is a good time. That's it, I'm getting my drivers license next month!
Its Saturday today and guess what... its still damn, freaking, goddamn, son of a bitch, shit raining!!!!
I wanted to go out today and cash my check but nooo!! I work all day tomorrow so I won't have money till Monday. This whole week my refrigerator is slowly looking emptier and emptier. The past days my meals have consisted of apples, cookies, water, pineapple, Frito corn chips, and chocolates, which I got from a HOT customer lady at work (YES YOU HEARD RIGHT! This hot LADY GAVE ME CHOCOLATES AS A GIFT, AT WORK, On New Years DAY!! Those expensive chocolates that they sell at the mall and Beverly Hills, they even came in a fancy bag. Its a looooooong story to tell you WHY but this woman game them to me!!) (Let me just tell you they are the best tasting chocolates I ever had!)
But yeah, anyways I've been unintentionally starving myself this whole week . I couldn't go to Vons to buy food because I had no money and I can't go now because I can't go to the bank and cash my check!! I'm starving!! My belly is literally ten inches smaller! I'm losing weight and I don't sleep well these past few days... I'm trapped in my own home, pathetic... ;|
Oh well, at least I'm catching up on some reading here at home and watching the news.
My life right now is at its most dull. Mom's out of town having the time of her life at Jerusalem, Israel (yes you heard right) at the other side of the world and I'm here reading books.
Damn.... [walks out balcony in apartment and looks outside at the rain, holds a box of chocolates in hand, the ones the hot moma lady gave me, grabs a chocolate and eats it, miserably, looking out at the heavy rain outside…]
