two more dreams

Dream One

Some sort of camping trip with boys. There had been some driving around and some sort of cabin, but what I remember is a huge lawn area in the middle of a big park, crowded with people, where we were all bowling. It was my turn and I was trying to line up my shot, but there was some piece of furniture in the way. I tried moving to the side, but wound up several "lanes" over and had to backtrack, then try and move closer to get around the offending object. Before I could take the shot, however, there was some announcement that we were leaving, and I wound up walking alongside a young man who was asking questions about where we were going to go and offering some suggestions which I didn't want to really consider. I was suddenly struck by the sight of a huge tree at the edge of the field and stopped to point it out to him. The thing was gigantic, as were the trees around it. High up was a branch big enough to be a tree in its own right, though at right angles to the ground below. Above was a smaller branch with three identical tufts of leaves, symmetrically placed.

Dream Two

The vague context I remember for this one was that each person had his or her own god watching out for them or was at least treated differently by the divine than everyone else was. It was kind of like God's ability to multitask was being hampered by not having enough processing power, resulting in continuity errors in life. The part I recall involved being on a plane where the passengers were being treated to some invisible theatre. Cassie and some male actor I can't remember were doing some scene involving Dorie's and my quarter jar and I was in back, watching them while also looking out of the plane's front windshield. (Yay, dream reality!) The two of them messed up their lines and I was shocked at what felt like a clumsy ad-lib, given their well developed acting abilities, but then was distracted when the plane announced it was having trouble. I saw through the windscreen that we were landing on a large highway, giving me a predictable adrenaline rush. Then, however, they announced that - cancel that, everything was fine. In a flash, the highway view disappeared and we were again in the air. I saw my own panic at this and predicted an aneurysm. The jarring transition forced me back into consciousness.
