School/People

School is finally coming to an end, everyone is always groaning about how much they hate it and about how much they just wish it would end (even me) but we all know that by the end of the summer we will look forward to coming back; even if we don't voice our opinion. The seniors are exempt from almost all the tests, and also got out a week early (those bastards) I cannot wait until next year. But why is it that people are afraid to say what they really think in a situation? I think that I'm especially poor at this, I happen to be jewish. Judaism is a religion, and like all religions they are all just a label that is pre-chosen for us before we are born right? WRONG! In my case, My religion is the source of my scrutinization pretty much daily in what is usually intended a "friendly way". But how come something from a friend, that is meant to be a friendly joke be so degrading and so harmful to someones self-esteem. The point is the fact that people say these things. They either simply refer to me as "jew" or say your such a "jew" or just say your a "jew" it didnt really bother me at first; I was like whatever, but now it is just plain stupid; I really wish people would stop. I don't usually have the balls to stand up to people, It is so much easier to stand up to your enemys (who you might be scared to death of) than your friends. Or are they your friends? These people that are supposed to back you up and support you in everything you do, are the people that are talking the most shit about you. Why can't people just lay off, and mind their own god damned buisness? I've never heard ANYONE say that shit talking isnt a bad thing, yet I've heard everyone talk shit before, (even me) dont' get me wrong i'm not pretending to be perfect, but people should not talk shit it's just plain stupid. Think about what you say before you say it, whether the person is next to you, or in the other room. DON'T BE MEAN, DONT TALK SHIT!!!
