I think that 19 is the in-between stage of exploding youth, curiosity, and individuality juxtaposed with growing up, becoming mature and more independent. I'm going through the transition (at 20) and it's not all that easy sometimes. Still trying to figure out who I am and what my purpose is. I feel young and yet so old at the same time. The world is "growing up" right before my eyes. It's weird. I'm just looking forward to it all finally falling into place...whenever that day may be.
Yea I know exactly what you mean. I guess sometimes i m too absorbed to realize im not the only person that goes through things like this. I mean when your in your 40's they call it a mid-life crisis right? lol well sort of. Not that this is completely like that but...one way or another you could say so.
yayne...im sorry that you feel that youre losing yourself. thats never a good thing. you should def keep up with photography and most certainly your writing, bc i must say that was another beautifully written entry. enjoy your stay in nyc and i hope that somehow you can refind yourself while there. <3<3
Oh dont worry I m not really upset or anything. I think Daffy above stated it quite well, its just that weird in-between age where you are just like "hmmm i really do have to be my own person now"....there are no more excuses you know? but at the same time its exciting! But yes losing yourself isnt too good...but i m sure everyone goes through that...you know where you just have to be your own person and not what everyone else wants you to be. Anyway THANK YOU very much and I hope you are having fun at UNC...see you on sunday? muah
