accomplishment
Some days, being a grad student feels like a lot of waiting, whereas others I am painfully busy. Today, I had a TA training session, then 3 hours of nothing, and then a meeting with the prof whose class I will be TAing. The 3 hours of nothing were spent sitting in my (shared) office, making lists of tasks to do later and occasionally adding to my NSF app essays.
Tomorrow, classes start. This means fewer late nights reading fanfic and watching 90210 reruns. However, it also is the blessed return of structure to my week. On the other hand, I still have Tuesday and Thursday off, so I can have some unstructured, sleep late, do laundry and dishes, "bum around the house" time.
Now to make sugar cookies. Because my darling husband asked so nicely (and I love cookies)
