[Castiel's first thought when he finally regained his normal height was that everything was back to normal.
And then he saw himself in the mirror.
Oh god, he's in Jinx's body. WHY IS HE IN JINX'S BODY.
Knowing Jinx's penchant for not bathing, Castiel bathes and leaves his room to find Jinx, mostly. Also, he is in a suit. To those who don't realize that he is not Jinx, it'll look like Jinx has turned over a new leaf. There's no cigar, no lingering smell of booze, and he actually looks well-groomed for once.
Obviously, something is wrong here.
