You don't buy White Castles, you rent them.

So, this is the first that I have updated in a while. Not a whole lot has been going on lately. I've been going to school(usually) and hanging out with friends. This past week, however has been very interesting.

I had a test, a quiz, a paper, and a partridge in a pear tree due this week. All of which I completed on time; the partridge was a son of a bitch. Anyway, I did very well on all of them. then came my six day weekend (I skipped Thurs. and Fri. classes).

Thursday and Friday were spent at the DeSales senior retreat at Mount St. Francis. I had a great time visiting and helping out. It felt weird being on the other side of the retreat, seeing all of the behind the scenes work and "work." I also feel as though I got back in touch with my spiritual side.

On Thursday night I took part in one of the funniest experiences i have ever had. After all of the students went to bed, the leaders all sat up just talking and goofing off for about four hours. While Nick and Josh took really bad directions to go get some Whiteys (white castles), the rest of us sat around and indirectly poked fun at one of the leaders. A couple of them drew up military plans for "Operation FUBAR SNAFU." Wow. It mostly consisted of them making fun of each other's drawings, but everything they said just kept getting funnier and funnier. Around 2 or 3 AM, we put the plan into action. That meant walking down to the lake in the dark and standing on the dock. Then it started t rain, at which point we had the cross country meet back to the retreat center.

All in all, it was a great time. I did some laughing, some thinking, and, thanks to the whiteys, some stinking. I met some cool people and got to know others better. That God feller sure knows what he's doing.
