Vanyon's head is stitched back on...to his neck. As amusing as his head stuck to his ass might've been, he wouldn't have seen the humor in it and no doubt his whining would drive me up the wall. No, the easiest way to deal is to delay reviving him, and I could always plead being underfed considering how much of my blood it will take to raise him.
It wouldn't be a lie either. I'm starting to get hungry. Which is why I've brought some food back today for his wraith-pet whose been repeatedly drowning at midnight for the past two weeks or so. I might have disapproved of what he had done to the nazgul but they are a never ending supply of blood and so worth keeping around...
