Turkey stew
Now that the holiday is done, I find that the turkey is still in the largely uneaten stage. I've been getting into sustainable lifestyles lately so the correct thing to do is to save the meat and make various freezable turkey dishes. I've made sort of a turkey stew tonight and may follow it with a casserole and some turkey taco mix.
Yeah, I got a lot of turkey.
I should probably eat some turkey tonight except that I can't say that I'm very hungry for turkey. As soon is the stew or whatever is made, it goes into freezer containers and can be forgotten until I want some turkey. The important thing is that I won't feel guilty about wasting food.
The carpet is put down in the hallway so there is only one more room to put carpet in. It looks like this will be the weekend for the job since the new year will bring a room mate and I'd like for this sort of thing to be done beforehand. There's still a lot of furniture to be put back so the weekend will be busy but well spent.
BTW Peaches and Reb, I want to come over sometime in January and do some fursuit building but I really feel that I should bring dinner. I was going to suggest turkey tacos.
