With the new year, I decided maybe some subtle changes were in order. Starting with this one. Notice how my username isn't tealantern anymore? That's because it is, and you're just blind. no okay I'm kidding, I rename tokened it to thundersocks, which is actually a really retarded Pokemon typo that I made, so now my geekiness is known to the world. For those who are too tired to read the fine print:

In less journal related news, my mom and I finished the first season of True Blood today. I was kind of iffy about it in the beginning? But it definitely grew on me and my mom, especially after the second to last episode when we learned who the killer was. I think I love Tara, and Sam, though a jealous bitch, is adorable. Also Maryann? Hnf.
I saw The Tourist yesterday, and it was... okay? Nothing exceptional. Why it took Hollywood to figure out that Angelina Jolie + Johnny Depp = REALLY HOT, I don't know.
