One of my cats has diabetes and a urinary tract infection. It's been caused by two different bacteria and the lab is having trouble finding a suitable antibiotic. I'll have to give him two shots of insulin a day, and it doesn't come cheap, but my mom said a bottle of insulin can last up to a month.
