"Nice blade."

[Garviel is now 2 feet taller than the last time she saw him, and has added a tremendous amount of mass as well, hugely and inhumanly muscled, though still pleasing of face and form. He's just bignormous, now, and the curve of his chest is different, not quite human.]

[Nei barely stops from her motions, and in fact finishes them before turning to him. The look on her face isn't shock, necessarily, but she is certainly looking him over. It seems she was not the only one who had physical changes as she came here.]

[Nei sighs a faint bit and turns, striking the tree with the blade as hard as she can. She then presents it for him. There are no nicks nor scratches on it.]

The blade isn't normal. It's the Thunder Sword. Inside usually rests Nue, it's guardian or deity. When he's inside, the blade can use lightning attacks, and can cut through buildings themselves as if they were paper.

[She then nods]

I wonder who is taller. Gara or you.

"Ah, a power sword. Many of the Astartes commanders used power swords, fists, or claws as part of their wargear. Myself, I used a chainsword and a boltgun, for while the other weapons were powerful, I found the wargear of a humble line soldier enough for me. Those weapons were simply a bit too ostentatious for my liking."

[She'll not get the boltgun, so it's fair. However, the other words she can understand, so she nods.]

A weapon can look great, but it is useless if one has no idea how to control it. It's best to stick to the things one knows.

[A small frown. Usually, Nei is very picky about her sword, due to it's special power. And it isn't uncommon for a weapon of it's type to turn against a person who is not it's master. However, since Nue doesn't at this time exist...]

[Carefully, she shifts to hold the sword out to him so that he can grab it by the guard.]

[he smiles further. He takes a swing. A blow from an unarmored Astartes can smash through rockcrete, pulp a man's skull, or dent tank armor. His strength behind the Lightning blade may well have just cut a tree down.]
