Bolt 3 - Evening of the 14th
[The day had been going along typically for Nei. This meant: Ignoring her not!husband, dealing with her not!kids - okay, she didn't mind them, just the not!husband - and trying to find things to do. After a run down to the store to get stuff for dinner, she'd come home and played the good little housewife by checking the mail... only to find a box addressed to her.]
[A very definite frown crossed her face. She didn't know anyone very well here, and she had heard that this place pulled stunts. She wasn't sure if she wanted to open the box or not, so she laid it down and began preparing dinner instead. It was a while later before she decided that, to hell with it, she would open the box. The Thunder Empress was not afraid of whatever this place could pull, and she would level it once she had the ability to do so.]
[Those thoughts were stopped quickly, though, as a moment later she had a rush of memories. Very strange memories, actually. Memories which overrode a good chunk of her real ones, though she never realized it, and replaced them with entirely new ones. Scout... An enemy... And then he was chasing after her and she was enjoying it? What the hell?]
[It took a moment, but finally it settled in. It made sense. A strong, capable man, even if he was a bit of a dork in her memories, did appeal to Nei. But she liked to be self-reliant. Naturally she wouldn't let him get too close. Plus, there was Darsh. But it had been fun, dangling a little carrot of 'Maybe' in front of him, and she'd grown fond of him a bit, even if it would never be said. So, after a minute, a smirk crosses her face and she takes to the phone.]
[Unfortunately, she has no idea how to filter, so Mayfield, enjoy the almost cooing and playful sound of Nei over the phone.]
Scout, are you here in town? I am pretty sure you are, and I just happened to cook too much dinner. If you'd like some, meet me at the park in about an hour, hmm?
[And with that, she'll hang up.]
