(no subject)
This person I work with was talking about how his dog had cancer a few years ago, and he and his wife decided to put it down because they didn't want to spend the money to cure it since it wouldn't be a sure thing. That just made me... o_O;
I don't understand it. I'm not, like, super crazy my-pet-is-my-child or anything, but if one of my pets was sick like that, money would be the last thing on my mind.. I'd take a second job if necessary. Animals are the only things that love you unconditionally. How could someone look at them and just be like, eh, shit happens?

Oh, and I just wanted to thank all those asses out there who thought nothing of shooting off their illegal fireworks ALL FUCKING NIGHT LONG. Nothing like having four terrified animals trampling all over you while you're trying to sleep.
