I'm not sure what's funnier, the very idea of trying to establish order and stability in a place where any one of us can disappear at any moment, or wanting to come up with a set of laws and expect everybody to obey then like good little citizens

How long people are here doesn't matter if there is efficient law enforcement.

I'm sure those of us that've been here for months and months while having to watch the bad guys go unpunished appreciate all your efforts.

Or they might wonder why it's taken so long. Who knows?

From the sounds of it, people were a little more focused on surviving than dealing with crime. Things have changed. Priorities have to change with it.
