The Lumina
Well, I'm having my 2nd problem with the Lumina since I've had it. 1st problem was that stupid caliper back in June. Russ & I both noticed it was a little louder then usual 2 weeks ago. So while I was at his place, we took a look at it. We found out that I'm missing my tailpipe & the piece of the muffler that the tailpipe is attached to. So now I need a new muffler & tailpipe. My next day off I'm going to go to different part stores & get prices for them. However, I had a problem. How was I going to get the car fixed, when I had to use the Divorce Deposit Return money for my bills this week? I agonized about this all evening. Then around 9:30p, my Mom called. What I dreaded was telling my Mom that I would only be able to send her 2/3 of the rent this week, becuz I still had to pay my Natural Gas & Electric too. She wasn't upset at all. In fact she had suggested that I use the 1/3 I wanted to pay her from my next paycheck (Jan. 27th) to get my car fixed. I love having my Mom as my Landlord!!

Work
Right before I clocked in on Tuesday, I got the Extended DVD Edition of LotR - Two Towers with my gift card (made sure I had it this time). I now own the complete Extended Edition Trilogy. I also found a card in the LotR - Return of the King DVD that said I could get a free slipcase ($3 S&H) to put all 3 movies in, too. So I went ahead & ordered it, and it should be here within 6-8 weeks. Coolies!!
At work today, I talked to Lamont (Store Co-Manager) & later on Kathy (Asst. Manager) about my hours that were cut (6 hrs/week), and how I'm barely making it with my 40 hours now. Kathy suggested that since we're short on cart pushers, I could do that for 6 hrs each week. I agreed that I'd do that. She said OK & that she'd have to talk to Lamont & get back to me sometime tomorrow. I know it's the not the greatest job in the world, but I'm willing to do it so I can get my 40 hrs every week until regular scheduled hours are back (supposedly in February).
