I really like alphabet soup quite a lot. For some reason the little letter shaped noodles amuse me. Not to mention that the soup taste good. The number of words you can make is almost infinite, only limited by your creativity, effort, and the letters you are given. Almost a metaphor for life. While eating you can stare into your bowl and muse at all the different words you can construct. If you are so inclined, you may even fish out various letter and spell things out on a plate of paper towel. Theoretically, you could just do it on a table, but that requires some clean up effort. If you are alone, it is a grand way to pass the time. However, alphabet soup is even better when with other people. Then you have the opportunity to make a fantastic game out of it. Scrabble is always fun, even if it is messy. All in all, alphabet soup is a fun way to pass the time.
