In my Directing for the Camera class final one of my classmates did a scene from Leon: The Professional. I didn't immediately make the connection between the project in class and the film, its been a good decade since I'd seen it. But I enjoyed it so much that I torrented the film and enjoyed the hell out of it. Gary Oldman truly makes any film he's in.
Here it is!

In other news, last night I went to the Tabard Theater in San Pedro square. Our school's student run theater program TRFT Independent put on a showing of Dog Sees God, the peanut's gang all grown up. And fucked up.
It was phenomenal. I laughed and cried harder than any stage play I've ever seen. I feel like it was the best play I've ever seen, but thats a pretty big statement. To be fair, it helped that I am friends with or working colleagues with the entire cast of the show. Also, the Tabard Theater is a black-box that is also a bar. So I may or may not have had a few Eggnog and Brandy's throughout the show with my coterie of the evening, my new friend Jackie, my old friend Hope, and my arch nemesis Kristen Carder (who is still rather fun to spend time with). Also in attendance was a good thirty or so acquaintances from the film and theater departments. It really felt like some sort of sit-com season finale. Everyone I know showing up in one place at the very end of the semester for an emotional performance.
(I did a scene from Wayne's World)
