I read Shutter Island. The movie's likely to be better than the book.

The trailer looked pretty good, its got an all-star cast, and its directed by Martin Scorsese, it'll be pretty hard to screw that up.

Whats shutter island about? besides, you know, and island, a prison, and ghosts?

I liked Pirates. You don't have to justify liking it by pointing out that the only thing you disliked about it were the two most popular actors. Man, Orlando Bloom and Kiera Knightley would not be nearly as detested if they weren't so popular. Not that they're what I'd call genius actors.

I guess they're successful, and for them there's a price for that. But you're allowed to like a franchise despite the fact that it contains popular actors.

I just realized this whole thing is moot because Johnny Depp is at least as loved if not more by teenagers than Orlando Bloom and Kiera Knightley. Just disregard this comment.

I haven't a qualm with Mr. Depp, but I just dislike the characters that Orlandy and Kiera play in the movies, they're unlikable and haughty.
