She Was Seven When I Was Seventeen.

I've spent the morning obliterating all the West Wing episodes on my TiVo. I think the whole Donna's-Car-Getting-Blown-Up/Israel-Palestine/Leo-Falls-Over story arc is my favorite in the entire series.

Goddamn West Wing! Why do you keep showing us what we can not have!?

Also, tomorrow I'm seeing The Wooden Birds in concert in a very intimate venue in the City. The lead singer-songwriter (Andrew Kenny) has just created this new band out of his old one, The American Analog Set.
I'm attending with a few old high school friends, and also, Carl Schlachte: someone I've talked to on-line a smattering of times in the past 8 years (mostly through Sam Tillis) but never met in person. Apparently he's befriended a chum of mine at Chapman University. Small world huh?

Off to help my sister primp and powder for her senior Ball this evening with her date Drew Reitz.

andrew kenny, friends, sam tillis, west wing, san francicso, concerts
