How does one describe the absence of something?
The absence of feeling? The absence of completion? How does one go from that fulfilled feeling to... nothing?
I welcome the numbness, it's a nice change of pace from betrayed, used and wounded. I guess it helps to find out you fell in love with a masquerade, rather than the real thing. At the same time, you gave your real love, your whole heart, and got nothing in return but the shards of what it once was...
