He's not sure when he started clinging to Spike's shoulders but his fingers dig in when there's a sharp stinging prick against his neck.

You know...there's another Spike/Simon somewhere that I think was really good... I can't, of course, remember who wrote it or I'd point you in it's direction. Possibly it's on redemptionday, but I'm not sure.
