Drabble #11
For sugar_fey, Mal/Spike and 'handcuffs'
The cuffs snap around Mal's wrists so quickly that he barely has the time to blink. After they're on, all he can do is stare.
"I ain't thinkin' so," he says - denies - to the snickering man in front of him.
'Spike' leans into him and Mal can feel cool breath brushing across his lips. "Oh, but I think so, pet." It's not too often Mal finds himself in this sort of position and the smug words bring up a shiver. Spike eyes him knowingly. "Maybe next time."
His hand sneaks into Mal's jacket, presses more than necessary, and withdrawals with a handful of credits.
If Spike is purring, then Mal is growling. And as the man slips around the corner with a farewell kiss and wave, Mal's got to admit that a pretty face really is his downfall.
