Wish we'd had more time together, for dancing. Was nice what we did get though. Glad you liked the dress, the weyrleader said he liked the colour. Spoke to him for a bit when you were busy, he asked me to write back to you. Told him I already was and he seemed pleased.
Kaida's teaching me how to knit. Maybe I can make you something for your birthday, though you'll need to remind me when it is. Not soon I hope, I'm not very good. Does Chielyth have a favourite colour yet? I could make something for her too.

We been real bisy *crossed out* busy *crossed out* bizzy *crossed out* busy lately. Jantha says I got to keep reading with the Harper. She says its real importent. The weyrleader got good taste. But may be you shudn't wear it to much. The Harper asked to read these letters but I told him no. There privet *crossed out* private. My birthday is end of 10th month. I got a hat and mittens already. Chielyth likes everything. Maybe you could make her a pillow? She's bigger then me finaly. Couple more sevens and she can hunt her own food, maybe.
