i'm sitting in a circular booth-like contraption in the northwestern library. the computer is positioned in the center of a circular table and surrounded by padded seating.
i have been granted the comforts of isolation and the power of observation. i can remain hidden behind the computer monitor while still managing to sneak peeks at the people directly in front of me.
the past nine days have been exceptional. bon and i have spent more time in The City than last year. we've decided to run on less sleep this time around.
thanks to the tibetan singing bowl and our generally outgoing nature, we've met some cool people. we've also hung with people we haven't seen in a long time. so, overall, the social scene has been fantabulous.
the kids are cool, a bit older than last year - so less awe-struck by my awesomeness - but still interesting munchkin-like creatures.
and now i eat.
