Well, it’s time for finals. I’ve gone on two cool field trips in the last month. One was DeMoines-Minneapolis-St Paul for my design studio, and the other was to Louisville and Cincinnati for my horticulture class. On the first, I found out that one of my friends is a near-professional frog-rider. I climbed on what may be the biggest spoon in the world (a Claus Oldenburg sculpture), and one of my other friends (more adventurous and nimble than I) almost got stuck in the bowl of said spoon. On the second trip, we visited some an arboretum/forest, an arboretum/zoo, a new botanical garden, and two arboreta/cemeteries. At one of the cemeteries, I discovered one of the scariest Jesus statues ever and one very coy angel. Online album
