Check out this amazing coincidence.
I subscribe to a blog called Cute Overload. Today they posted a video wherein a hacker took videos of cats "playing" piano and spliced it together to recreate a piece of "atonal music" called Drei Klavierstücke by a composer named Arnold Schoenberg.
I clicked through to the creator's site, where he explained that used a product called Comparisonics to compare the cat videos to the original recording.
One of the co-founders of Comparisonics is Dr. Steven Rice, a professor of mine at Ole Miss who wrote me a really nice recommendation letter for graduate school this year.
Cool, huh?
