Time for a bit of a rant. When, precisely, did it become standard practice in retail to believe that ALL your customers were thieves? I am insanely tired of the products I want being locked up behind plastic - making me have to hunt down the very elusive salesperson WITH keys. I swear that's a dying breed right there. I'm just trying to buy razor blades here folks. You know, with money? You remember that stuff? Well ok, maybe in this economy you don't.
I am absolutely disgusted that I have to hand over my driver's license to purchase some damned Sudafed. Seriously? Alright, so it's an ingredient in meth - so only sell one box at a time! If some stupid teen wants to wander to a hundred drug stores to get enough Sudafed to make meth - let the idiot kill himself. I'll be over here with my headcold not giving a damn that some moron drug user is dead.
I just bought four things. I'm walking out with my bag. NO - you do NOT have to sign my sales slip. Let me out of your store damn it - I gave you my money, let me out!
It's taking the fun out of shopping. I'm a law abiding citizen - and I'm sick and tired of the lowest common denominator being pandered to. Knock it off.
