GP09: Wrapping Up
So this is the final day of the Gratitude Project 2009 - and I'm so grateful that I participated again this year. These daily reminders of many things that are good in my life are so valuable to me in keeping my head on straight.
So.. for the weekend:
9/19: Grateful that my doctor called in my prescription so that I can continue to take the two medicines I need before seeing her in a week. 24 hour pharmacies are a blessing.
9/20: Grateful that my body let me play games all day long - this was the monthly special event in EQ2 and I was worried that my hips wouldn't let me sit, but they did and I had a lot of fun.
9/21: Today for a fun, short, shopping trip and new boots. Every year I say that I want new boots, but I almost never buy them in time. This year it is boot season and I have cute new boots to wear. I'm a happy camper right now.
Yes, these things are fairly shallow - but then so am I sometimes. Ok, so am I most of the time. And you know what, I'm grateful that I'm allowed to be silly and shallow and people still care about me. That being said, as we head into this new year - I am hopeful that I will be able to find the time and strength to dig just a little deeper into some of my studies. Priorities - I need to make a list of priorities. Maybe that will happen soon.
