working from home
As most of you know, I work at a Jewish organization. And tonight begins Rosh Hashana - the Jewish New Year. So our offices close at 1pm. Now I've got just about an hour and a half commute each way to work, so that would have been 3 hours of traveling for 4 hours of work. This math just does not work for me.
So my boss is allowing me to work from home today. Direct connection to my desktop makes this a possibility. Sometimes I curse computers because I spend so much time on them, but honestly without them I would have to make the trek in today or take a vacation day. So, thank you computers for enabling me to be productive from my house this morning.
