managing to post
Well, we gathered ourselves together and re-set the tank. And now, after running it for a few days, it has four guppies meandering around in it. Poor babies look just slightly lost and one of them looks like he may be working on dying but he keeps swimming so there's hope yet. Fish guy wants us to give them a week and then bring him a water sample and then he'll sell us more fish. I like this fish guy... I've no idea if he's any better than any of the other fish guys out there but he at least appears to care about the fish he's selling.
Last night we nearly killed our neighbors. They had an alarm of extremely annoying beeps going off in their backyard and refused to turn it off. Well, actually they wouldn't even open their door for bardicstorm to ask them to turn if off so we called the cops. Who apparently never showed up since the stupid alarm was still beeping this morning. I realize that in the grand scheme of things an alarm is small potatos in NYC, but since they didn't show up after the fucking gun fight a week ago either I'm somewhat less than impressed with the cops right now. But then I'm tired and cranky today so what do I know.
And in-game there has been high dwama that so far I've managed to stay out of. I will continue to try to stay out of it as it appears to be nothing more than a mis-managed mis-communication by two real dwama queens. I loathe that stuff and they've managed to drag a good portion of people into their little fight. Idiots. Instead I will concentrate on the exceedingly cool Live Event running right now and trying to learn more about this guild recruitment faire that SoE is supposed to be running this weekend. I could stand a bit more information on their expectation of the guilds who have signed up for it... like are we supposed to do something specific at some point or is it more milling about than anything else.
