This is actually a song that reminds me of several events with the fabulous Jessie Stein and equally fab squirtt77 . We played this piece so many times in two years that I lost count. But I distinctly remember playing this with Jessie and the York College Wind Symphony my sophomore year as concerto competition winners. It was a magical, almost trance-inducing performance, and I love this piece.
