Like the Ivory Billed Wood pecker before it, reports of Almond Joy extinction were premature. NRDC reports today that Almond Joy has been sited in the Halloween candy bowl at the Wright residence. Nay sayers contend that inexperienced tree huggers have confused the blue white and red wrapper of a crunch bar for the distinctive logo of Almond Joy. No so, report unidentified observers from NRDC. Almond Joy is back and if resources are managed consivertively then we can expect to se Almond Joy for the rest of the season. Game wardens informed us they will be observing closely for poaching and unauthorized removal of the tasty morsles. A certain adolescent resident has been reported to be the ultimate "Cherry Picker" avoiding other resources to deplete the scarce Almond Joy. Observers will be armed and dangerous and poachers will be given no quarter or mercy.
