I've been morbidly facinated with the tsunami lately, as perhaps we all have. Look at these before and after satellite photos. Does anyone know the actual definition of a Malthusian correction? Was this one? (not saying that I buy into Malthus, just saying that if I were to apply his theoretical framework, would this disaster, 'make sense'.



hmmmm.. the link doesn't seem to be working right, it is a weird pop up on the cnn web site. anyway, go to cnn.com and find the before and after pictures of the coast line. they are really dramatic.
