Fall...
It has been a quiet week in the holler; I don't know where the summer went. Just looked up and it was gone, but wherever it went, it went speeding like one of those nitrous oxide-powered racing vehicle-things, the ones that look like cigarette boats that need parachutes to stop at the end of the track when their purpose of the day is done. But I haven't seen a parachute around here, only October winking in with a day of incredible sky, amazing light and a cornucopia of clouds ranging from cotton-ball puffy white to drench-carrying black (and all in between), all floating around and away faster than you know what... Fall makes me want to start up a fire in the fireplace, kick my berks off and lay on the couch with a book and a rum and tab until even the magic toothpicks cannot keep my eyelids open. We went to TargEt this afternoon for staples and such and among other things we got 3 new Bella outfits, sure to be modeled shortly in a journal near you. Tim Gunn, eat your heart out (and make it work). Speaking of Bella, she is turning into a total Coppertone puppy with Lynne's pant legs. Gotta capture that image sometime :) Btw, major userpic envy in this post. Summer is officially gone and buried, October is here, but hope is still whistling in the horizon like an idiot wind through open car windows. Everyone have a great and blessed week...
