Cursed......
Ok, so I just got back from a 4 day trip to Chicago with my Kimmy and Aurora. Seeing Chicago for the first time, and meeting a small but crazily vibrant group of people, made me finalize an idea I've felt for awhile:
Baltimore is a depressing, pissed-off, surly, bitchy, and self-defeating city. And I'm in NO way blaming ANY individuals, I'm sure anyone in my social circle could go to Chicago and be awakened the same way I have, it's this city as a WHOLE that is miserable. The basic additude of everyone I met over THERE seemed so much more open and creative, and fuckin HOPEFUL. The amount of conversations about "hating my shitty job", and "hating my shitty life" is rediculous here!. There's a strange stale slowness about life here. Maybe the air quality or the public water, who knows. The black clowd of inertia over this place is depressing sometimes.
There is charm here and there, but overall, this definately is one of the angriest places on the planet. And anger is boring. On the same level as emo.
A one note, metronome of a song in our ears. very little soul.
I want to try ALL the colors, not just red and black.
